I am an architect and researcher exploring the intersection between built environments, ecology, and material life.
My work combines methods from architecture, microbiology, ecology and physiology to investigate how materials, organisms, humans and spatial practices interact. Through experimental and applied projects, I study architecture as a living interface capable of sensing, adapting, and coexisting with both macro- and microbial life.
I currently carry out my research at the Chair of Building Technology and Climate Responsive Design, Technical University of Munich and collaborate as a Guest Scientist with the Institute of Comparative Microbiome Analysis (COMI) at Helmholtz Center Munich.
